There are no words to express how appreciative and grateful we are for using Entertaining Company as our wedding caterer! Jane, who was our go to person throughout the planning, was truly exceptional. I really loved her energy and personality while speaking to her, she was very attentive and communicated very effectively throughout this entire process and then I took that first bite and was sold. The food was so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful, and creative I knew I wanted her and Entertaining Company to cater my wedding. To this day my guests can’t stop talking about how amazing the food was: flavorful and warm and the service was impeccable. They also created our escort candy boxes, and provided our late night bites and coordinated with our wedding venue and florist and created custom dessert trees which were a big highlight of the night! They also created our wedding cake which was very tasty and beautiful too! We wanted unique, different, fun, and overall excellent quality for everything and that is exactly what we got! I would seriously have my wedding all over again, just for the food – it was that good.

I had the pleasure of working with Jane and the EC Team for my wedding. Jane was such a joy to work with - she was a great listener, creative, organized, brought such great energy, and absolutely delivered on the food and drink for our big day.

We went with a fun spin on a classic wedding dinner with a family-style build-your-own burrito bowls and tacos. We had tasty and fun appetizers, desserts, and late night food. Jane brought our vision to life, and even enhanced our vision with great ideas. I was so excited by her creativity and willingness to think outside the box.

We would absolutely work with Jane and EC again. Highly recommend!

I could not recommend Entertaining Company more for your wedding or event! The food and service at our wedding was truly outstanding and the best of the best. Working with Jane was so much fun. She really understood what we wanted for our big day and went above and beyond what we asked for. We worked with Kenneth Woodman and Team at Entertaining Company and could not have been happier. Kenneth was a joy to work with, and always thinking of the details to make the event professional, elegant, and FUN! We have never received more compliments on the food at our Gala,giving a modern touch to a traditional greek menu (we were at the National Hellenic Museum after all!) and the table settings were gorgeous. The team day of was incredible, keeping guests happy (even as we had some technical difficulties) with drinks and food so that everyone left happy and full. I've worked with many caterers in Chicago, and Entertaining Company is the only one that thinks carefully with you, as a collaborator, about your entire event, which is huge for a small company like ours. Hire them!

Absolutely blown away by Jane and the entire team. They are all experienced, professional, and thoughtful people. I am beyond thankful for them because they made the day of so easy going. We used Entertaining Company to cater our wedding and have only wonderful things to say about the entire experience. We worked closely with Jane who was such a great partner from the very first tasting! She was very accommodating and empathetic when we had some changes in our vision for how we wanted the meal to be set up - I think the flexibility and dedication to bring our vision to life within budget was what set EC apart the most (aside from the amazing food of course!). And their staff couldn't have been more professional the day of - they were very well coordinated and everyone was professional and friendly. We had a cookie table, which involved my relatives dropping off over 80 dozen cookies to their building, which they transported and kept in good condition until the next day. They did an amazing job setting up the cookie table to make the display beautiful! And they were able to make to go boxes with our custom label on them for people to take cookies home. I only have great things to say, and if you get to work with Jane as the event lead, consider yourself lucky!!

Julie and her staff were amazing! Before the event, Julie was very responsive and helpful, but on the day of the event she and her staff really showed their true colors. On the day, before our event started, they were warm and smiley, seemingly as excited as we were. They really set the tone. Anything I started to do, they took over. When I started to put out my decorations, they said they could do it. During the event, they saw when someone needed help getting food/drink, and they were there helping. They adjusted our serving schedule graciously when important guests were late. They packed things up for me at the end and told me to just enjoy my guests. They made things smoother and more fun than I ever expected. And the food was delicious (a Chicago-style theme) with a beautiful presentation. Everybody was taking photos of the spread before they dived in. I would recommend them to anyone!

EC could not have done a better job with our wedding, and they were fantastic partners throughout the process. They worked with us for months to develop a really special, very personalized menu and night of, the team really delivered. The compliments we have been getting from our guests invariably highlight the food and the service, I cannot recommend EC highly enough.
