My experience with gluten free food is usually one of avoidance of eating out and the risk of cross contamination, unless I do a massive amount of reading and research on line.

Last weekend I went to the Vend Markets in Virginia Brisbane Queensland. I'd seen a post on Coeliac Brisbane face book site that recommended the outing. So I got in the car and drove clear across town to enjoy a gluten free safe meal.

They had a bevy of food trucks, and gf wasn't a problem for me. One in particular called the 'Feel Good Foodie' food truck is 100% gf and so delicious too. I couldn't help myself and bought two meals. Karage Chicken and Loaded Fries with pulled pork. The Loaded Fries I had for lunch, so delicious. 😋 Then the chicken was for dinner, equally as scrumptious too. 😋

I also had a slushee that was very thirst quenching and so cold, especiallybeing such a hot day. It came in raspberry or tropical flavours which was definitely a bonus.

The prices are reasonable for a Coeliac, especially when you are satisfied in knowing its Coeliac gf safe. I will be looking out for them in the future at other events!

Quick service, decent coffee and good looking breakfast. Unfortunately the eggs benny was not the best. Eggs were not runny & the toast was pretty hard. I would give it 3.5 stars. I would be keen to try other dishes and see if they are better.

Had a birthday brunch at VEND Virginia and ordered the Pumpkin, Corn and Zucchini fritters that are served with a poached egg, bacon, goats cheese, tomato relish , greens and tomatos.

These were amazing and presented so beautifully, fantastic value as well. Service was fabulous from the Cafe staff and coffees were also on point.

A great atmosphere with food looking like a 5 star restaurant at affordable prices for families. Thanks so much for a great morning out.

We stopped in at Vend market and cafe on our way to the tennis and I have to say that their chilli scrambled eggs were to die for! Service was fantastic also, thank you 🙏🏼

My husband and I have struggled to find a great breakfast in Brisbane but this place delivered big time. The biggest, tastiest breakfast we have ever had!! The chef who was on Monday was a delight she catered to our vegetarian needs and served us a delicious start to our day 10/10!

A very family friendly cafe with lots of space outside to eat and let the kids run around. Additionally there is plenty to see inside, but it isn't the place to spot a bargain.

Food by all accounts was scrumptious. My breakfast item is eggs benny and it was terrific. I enjoyed it that much that I can almost guarantee I wouldn't explore the menu if I go back.

Tip, when you order a hash brown side, it actually comes with two (refer pic).

Breakfast. Markets. Fun.

I came here for 2nd Breakfastess. 😜
Ordered a coffee Latte, an iced black. A big breakfast, and a 🌽 corn and zucchini fritter. It can quite quickly despite being busy just before lunch. BIG breaky! Lots! 2 hash browns, 3 bits of bacon, lovely mince, 2 eggs. Big bratwurst! Great!

Latte was good too.

The food is always good, and the service is great. The atmosphere was exceptional this time round, as I went with my best friend and I brought my little puppy Frankie with me. He made so many human friends and had a wonderful day ❤️
